How do I create an account... and why should I?

At the end of the checkout process, you will have the opportunity to create an account with Gear Up.  By creating an account, all your information will be automatically loaded during the check out process.  This information is all stored with an off site, secure, PCI complient host.  By creating an account, you'll also be able to go back and view past orders.

I just ordered an item but my cart total is still "0"?

If you are using Internet Explorer there could be a slight delay in your cart total changing. If you click on the cart icon, it will take you to your shopping cart and you'll see that it's actually there. If you then continue shopping, you'll see that it has changed.  The company hosting the ecommerce side of our site knows of the situation and is working to fix it.

Phone number is required - why?

We ask for your phone number only so we can contact you if there is a problem filling your order.  Yes, we can send an email... but those are sometimes missed, forgotten, or caught in a spam filter.

If you don't want to give us your number, simply type in 123-456-7890.  If you go this route and there's a problem with shipping your order... we'll send you an email.  If you don't reply, we'll set your order aside.  We're sure you'll call after a week or two has gone by and you haven't gotten your order.

SHIPPING QUESTIONS

Please explain the Free Shipping.  

If your order value is $150 or more, there is no charge for ground shipping.  Shipping costs are not part of the order value.  Free shipping does not apply to UPS over sized items. Free shipping is for the Continental United States only.  

Free shipping applies to internet orders only.  If you call in and place an order, shipping charges will apply to your order.

Can you expedite my shipment?

Of course we can!  If you want it right away, give us a call and we'll work out the details.  

If you're order value is $150 or more, we'll subtract the ground shipping cost from the total cost to expedite your order.

Do you ship international?

Unfortunately we do not ship internationally.  Gear Up LLC ships product to the 48 states that make up the Continental U.S. of A.

I live in New York City.  I'm trying to order a Mace product, but it won't work.

Mace products cannot be shipped to NY, MA, and DC.  They can be bought there, but not shipped there.... sorry!
